Thimphu Tech Park Private Limited was established as a real estate managing firm to manage the IT park with the Government Data Center, IT business incubation center, and other IT Firms (both national and international). In recent years, they also ventured into IT development works, starting with DHI-owned companies like BPC, DGPC, NRDCL, and Kuensel systems.

To ensure that Bhutan has sustainable IT firms to provide long-term support and also build local talent, the cabinet decided to award three IT flagship projects to DHI directly. The National Digital ID was carried out while ePIS and Bhutan Income Tax System were handed over to be carried out by TTPL.

While the TTPL managed to gear up a pool of competent local IT teams, they also partnered with an IT firm Manorama Infosolutions, which is based in India and has pioneered healthcare IT enterprise solutions globally.
